Necklaces may be the best example. Originally considered ornate, delicate, and sentimental pieces of women’s jewellery, they have quietly found their way into men’s clothing, thanks to celebrities.
A$AP Rocky and Pharrell have changed the perception of men’s jewellery. Necklaces are now more widely accepted, and even pearls have become popular.

Pendant
You probably think of a pendant when you hear the word “necklace”. This type of necklace is made up of a pendant or charm suspended from a long chain. It’s usually something small, sentimental, and heavy enough to pull the chain gently into a V shape at the centre of the chest.
If you don’t know where to begin, this is a good option because it has meaning. It’s not just jewellery for the sake of jewellery. You could choose to wear something that represents your heritage, family symbol, religion or birthstone. It doesn’t matter what it is as long as it adds some flair to your outfit.
Dog Tag
Dog tags, like many other great menswear items, have their military origins. These swinging tags, which hang from a silver necklace, were originally used to identify soldiers but have since become fashion items.
If you are afraid to experiment with jewellery and consider yourself a bloke, then this is the perfect place to begin. This necklace achieves the same thing as a pendant but in a more manly way.’ Suppose you are interested in this sort of thing.
Curb Chain

Beaded Necklace
Beaded necklaces are a great option for a relaxed, summery style. This is a tricky one to get right. It’s the easiest style move to make. If you get it wrong, you will look like a gap year student who has just returned from Southeast Asia wearing a pair of harem trousers with an elephant pattern.
Keep it small and avoid anything too woody. Glass or stone are other options that will add colour.
Avoid anything long, pendulous, or high and tight on the neck.
Pearl Necklace
In 2025, it is no longer considered outrageous to wear a pearl pendant as a male. Harry Styles, Tyler, The Creator, and others have popularised the look, but now anyone can do it without causing too much controversy.
