Puffco Peak: 5 Tips and Tricks

When you are done for the day, turn off your Peak. It’s the simplest tip, but also the most crucial. The Peak does not have an automatic shutoff timer. It will slowly drain its battery until you manually turn it off, or it is as dead as a nail. Make a mental note to turn it off at the end of each day.

Cold Starts and Hot Loading
Some days I want a mild, flavorful hit with little throat irritation or coughing. Some days, I prefer thick, potent clouds to rock me with a single hit. The Peak is able to deliver on both counts.

Preload your Peak for a tasty ride and begin with the two lower temperature settings (Blue/Green). The hits are subtle but still deliver a powerful flavor. Do the opposite if you are a torch and banger user. Set the temperature to White (the highest setting) and start it. Once the machine is ready, load it up and press it! It’s the best way to get a full, quick extraction.

Swab after every hit
It’s not always fun to clean your rigs, but you need to do it to keep them looking good. The easiest way to achieve this is to wipe out the oven each time you hit. Take a cotton swab to soak up any residue while the oven is still hot. This is a simple and easy way to maintain your bowl.

Take care when using the atomizer
Puffco’s Peak is an excellent concentrate rig. However, it comes with some caveats. It’s been reported that the atomizers are fragile and easily breakable if not handled with care. If you need to disassemble it for deep cleaning, be careful not to damage the ceramic plate or bowl. This will render your Peak useless. When disassembling it or taking it with you, be extra cautious.

Do not load your car too much
Overloading your Peak can also ruin it. You can also leak under and into the atomizer if you overload the Peak. You can end up with a big mess and damage your electronics. Start with a rice grain-sized amount. You can always add some more later.

Accessorize and personalize
Puffco released a variety of useful and flashy accessories after its launch in 2018. The travel glass is an obvious choice for frequent travelers. You can seal the mouthpiece to prevent spills wherever you travel. What about some stylish colored glass? You can choose from a variety of colored glass bubblers to add some personality to your puffco peak.
Upgrade to a ball cap if you have the standard carburetor cap. This cap will allow for more airflow to be directed in a way that maximizes performance.
