XEffects 1 Tech Transitions

Transitions that would have taken many layers, complex mattes and some maths to complete are now possible within FCPX with a couple of clicks.

Tech Transitions is the first commercial product for FCPX to feature temporal or retiming of video within the effect. Use the automatic repeaters to step or duplicate action on the cut.

The freeze versions of effects holds the last frame of the outgoing media and the first frame of the incoming media, performing the transition between the two stills. Perfect for emphasising movement and because they are transitions, the freezes will automatically update when the effect is slipped, duration changed or copy and pasted. No more razor blading and making freeze frames!
