Value Tester

Value Testers are tools mainly dedicated to fxscript code developers: they display the values of many predeclared variables and functions that are made available by FCE and FCP to filters and generators. This information is a support for debugging filters and generators.

The filter version of the Value Tester returns values that FCE/FCP makes available in filters; these values may be partially different from the corresponding values returned in generators by the same fxscript variables and functions. These are returned by the generator version of the Value Tester.

This filter has been tested in Final Cut Express 4 and Final Cut Pro 6, but it will likely work also in other versions of FCE and FCP as long as they provide support for the fxscript scripting language.
