TerraBlock 24EX
The 24EX model was a response to our customers' requests for expandability within a single server enclosure. The 1/2 populated 24D can be expanded at any time to a fu11 24D model, either with the same or larger capacity drives. Expansion of the drive set is completed without data Ioss or data movement. This model is well suited for smaller facilities, or as an incremental expansion option for larger facilities.
Even with the standard compliment of 12 drives, the 24EX is capable of high-bandwidth workflow in HD or even DPX film scan formats. A single 2K RGB 24fps stream is supported on the 24EX, so the same server used for lower resolution editorial can also be used for the finishing stage.
