Sometimes a bit of ‘magic’ is needed to make a certain object become the center of focus in an image. Depth of Field and Bokeh have become buzz words as highly sought-after effects. Simple blurs (gaussian, etc.) do not accurately simulate true lens defocus primarily due to higlights being lost or ‘dulled’ by blur operations. Other defocus plugins can be slow and tedious, taking large amounts of time to render. We have created a GPU-accelerated suite of plugins (up to 300% faster) to create Depth of Field, Bokeh, Pan/Tilt, Rack-Focus, and other effects with unparalleled speed.
