A fantastic wee box, It's video output in HD & SD is fantastic.
The MAX H.264 compression is really fast, and can almost double your encoding speed.
Dislikes:
The audio output is still a little buggy. Mostly noticeable when you are stepping thru footage 1 frame at a time, the audio stutters and pops.
Hoping for this to get fixed in the new software update.
Just added it to my rig, love it so far. Easy install and setup, tons of configuration options, great price for RT downconversions/upconversions/crossconversions.
Haven't had time to try yet, but I'm hoping it will allow me to use my old AJA IoLA's RS422 deck control and the MXO2 Mini's downconverted SD output to print frame accurate BetaSP masters from an HD timeline (big time savings).
Also, I was able to use it's calibration tools to fine tune a cheapo $200 Vizio from our guest room to be more color accurate than my old Sony 13" production monitor. The picture was still crappy, but it was perfectly color accurate crap. :)

You CAN use AJA RSS422 deck control out of an IoLA for frame accurate edit to tape via the MXO2 Mini.
Sweet product, it encodes fast and the picture quality from Pro-res was gorgeous. Have used it to burn Blu-ray and to upload to YouTube. The quality on YouTube was surprisingly great. Yes great things can come in small packages!

I love my MXO 2 Mini (no Max). It records 1920 x 1080 Pro Res LT on my MacBook Pro flawlessly. I wish it would record Pro Res 422 at this resolution.
