Metacorder

Metacorder is a full-function incredible powerful field audio recorder which combines Mac OSX and any CoreAudio interface to offer cutting edge functionality at an extremely cost effective system price.

System Requirements:

Mac OS X 10.3.5 or later.
Systems earlier than 10.3.5 have not been tested and are hence not supported by Gallery. In general you should use the latest versions of OS, and CoreAudio Drivers.

USB Port
The USB port is required for the dongle. For best results, use a built-in USB port, although USB ports from PCI expansion cards will also generally work well. If you are using a Powerbook or iBook, we recommend attaching the dongle to the end of a short USB extension cable to avoid accidentally snapping off the dongle if it sticks out of the side of the computer.

CoreAudio Interface.
MetaCorder is designed to work with any CoreAudio interface. There are many to choose from, and many different manufacturers. Consult your Gallery dealer for advice on which interface is most suited to your requirements. Please ensure your core audio device and its driver are installed, tested and working perfectly before you start using Metacorder.
