Streaming Support
Faster than realtime exports are ready to playout while the export is still in progress. Streaming MXF files can be accessed while exporting by using our MXF Import QT solution. Run the export process from Final Cut Pro and open and preview the file in parallel in QuickTime Player. If you install the MXF importer on a different Final Cut Pro workstation then you can even access the MXF clip in Final Cut Pro while the export is ongoing. You can then update the clip duration in Final Cut Pro by using the included UpdateFCPMedia plug-in and check the clip with full video playout and audio routing support. This ultimate realtime access experience is a killer feature that you don't want to miss anymore when processing files. Also live cataloging of exporting clips with Final Cut Server is possible.

MOV, OP1a or OP-Atom rewrapping
Final Cut Pro provides extensive format support thanks to the flexible QuickTime architecture. In combination with our MXF Import QT solution there is a great choice of different workflows. DV assets in various flavours can be mixed in projects and timelines, no matter if the source is native MXF such as from Panasonic P2 (OP-Atom), Avid (OP-Atom), captured media from broadcast servers (OP1a) or QuickTime MOV from Log and Transfer or other sources. They all can be brought together and exported to standard OP1a GC.
