EditShare Ark

Ark Disk Based Storage is offered at a considerable cost savings compared to conventional EditShare Storage systems. All models are designed to provide a convenient place to backup and archive material from your main EditShare servers, or create realtime mirrors of selected Media and Project Spaces. While Ark systems are not generally usable for realtime editing, in a crisis situation where something has happened to a facility's main EditShare storage, Ark Disk Based Storage can be “activated” and used to complete mission critical work while the primary storage is repaired. The number of realtime users and the bandwidth that can be supported depends on the Ark model you choose.
