Calibrated{Q} MP4-EX Import for OSX
Calibrated{Q} MP4-EX Import is a QuickTime component for NATIVE Importing and Playback of Sony XDCAM EX MP4 Files and JVCProHD HM700/HM100 MP4 Files within Final Cut Pro.
Finally you can enjoy the freedom of native MP4 editing in Final Cut Pro without the need for Log and Transfer.
And if you somehow have only the MP4 file without the other corresponding files in the BPAV folder structure - don't worry, 'orphaned' MP4 files are supported too.
And you're not just limited to Final Cut Pro, you can also natively import files in Compressor, Motion, Sound Track Pro, QuickTime Player and Shake.
- Mac Intel with OSX 10.5.8(Leopard) or 10.6.2(Snow Leopard)
- Direct import of of supported MP4 Files only for these Final Cut Studio 2 & 3 applications: Final Cut Pro, Compressor, Motion, Sound Track Pro, and Shake
- RealTime Playback in Final Cut Pro is dependent upon system
- When using with Final Cut Pro Studio 2, Final Cut Pro 6.0.6 or greater must be used.
- For systems WITHOUT Final Cut Pro Studio 2 or Final Cut Studio 3 installed, users must use Calibrated{Q} XD Decode Codec to decompress video. DO NOT INSTALL CALIBRATED{Q} XD DECODE ON ANY COMPUTER WITH ANY VERSION OF FINAL CUT PRO.
- At least a Intel Core 2 Duo with two physical cores is highly recommended
