Atomic Fusion

Atomic Fusion is a helper application for Final Cut Pro to automate the merging process for separate video and audio MXF OP-Atom files. The application can be used with such OP-Atom files from Avid, Ikegami, Panasonic, OpenCube, EVS, Amberfin, Rhozet, Telestream, among others.

Atomic Fusion is not file naming based, instead it takes advantage of the MXF4mac core technology. The separate video and audio OP-Atom files do not need to have identical names and they do not need to be placed together within a single folder. The can even be mixed with other OP-Atom files in one folder and the naming can be totally screwed up. P2 and Ikegami files don't need to be within the original file and folder structure, XMLs are not required. Atomic Fusion uses our MXF core technologies to link the right files. It works across entire volumes and devices.

Just drag and drop your folders that contain OP-Atom files in the application window. Then send the clips to Final Cut Pro by clicking the "Send to Final Cut Pro" button (Final Cut Pro 7 required). This process does not create new media files or reference movies, it's still pure MXF.
