It’s official, I’m adding an Adidas tracksuit to my wardrobe

Everyone wears Adidas, whether they are wearing one of its iconic tracksuits or the much-loved Sambas.

Adidas is everywhere. Adidas is everywhere.

I’ve wanted to buy a two-piece suit for myself, but I don’t know where to start. Would it suit me? Was it something I could pull off? To find out, I went to the Adidas flagship store on Oxford Street in London.

When I arrived, the size of the store overwhelmed me. The store has four floors of activewear and loungewear. I was initially overwhelmed by the size. I was then led to the basement, which is a quieter area where the Originals collection can be found.

Below are all the Adidas items I fell in love with.

The red oversized tracksuit:

When I walked into the store, I noticed this two-piece suit and grabbed it right away. This definitely screams “fashion girlie.” The jacket is super comfortable and flattering despite its size. It would be perfect to wear to Conde Nast, and I’m sure I’ll receive a lot of compliments. You can wear this tracksuit to work or out on the town with trainers and heels.

The brown tracksuit

Next, we have a brown Adicolor Beckenbauer outfit paired with SL 72 OG sneakers. I wouldn’t normally grab something like that, but it was very nice. The white collar on the jacket and bottoms gives off a vintage look. Metallic sneakers are a popular trend this year and are sweeping the streets. The trainers were not what I would normally choose, but they completed the look. Love.

The iconic tracksuit

The next thing I tried was the iconic, timeless Adidas tracksuit. The black track top and bottoms of the Firebird were very comfortable, casual and chic. The look could be easily worn at the office. I went up a size in both pieces for a cooler, oversized look. A staple for any wardrobe.

The hoodie is worn with the skirt.

It’s time to spice things up with some WFH wear: a hoodie-and-skirt combo. Who knew Adidas did skirts? I didn’t know. I would size up if you want more stretch. I love an oversized hoodie. This is something I can wear casually or out and about.

The Party Outfit:

This two-piece made me gasp. A rhinestone-studded Adidas tracksuit?! Now I have seen it all. I don’t usually like glittery things, but this was really something. Literally, I was sparkling from head to toe. Wear it with comfortable flats or heels for walking, working, dancing, you name it.

Casual blue outfit

The T-shirts were an unexpected draw for me. There was a wide variety of colours, but blue caught my eye in the store. The wide-leg trousers are very wide and long, but they’re super fun! I added the most popular Adidas trainers, the Spezials. The shoes looked and felt fantastic.
