In Vogue’s March-April 2025 cover story, Ananya Pandey recalled longing for the “really adorable Chanel Wallet Bag” that she once borrowed from Mum and flaunted throughout her teenage years. Her little sister took it to New York as a predictable sibling stunt. Ananya Panday was announced as Chanel’s newest ambassador last week. She is the first Indian to hold this position.
Panday’s personal style has been influenced by Chanel for the past year, from the elegant earrings to the tweed sets and scarves that she turned into tops. Here are some of her most recent looks, which were inspired by the designs of Chanel’s French luxury house.
Panday, who was wearing a classic Chanel jumpsuit and jacket in black tweed, shared what’s inside her Chanel 25 bag. The list also included headphones and dog toys, as well as a monogrammed silk, stole in maroon and a quilted, star-shaped silver coin purse.

Panday’s Chanel 2024/25 Cruise Collection is inspired by Marseille and its coastal town. The silver-and-crystal chain belt and crab studs are just a few of the many details that Panday incorporates.

During her Seychelles vacation, she wore a variety of Chanel pieces, including playful prints and blush-pink cheeks. She wore a leopard print fitted skirt from Skims x Dolce & Gabbana paired with a black tube top and Chanel’s black mesh bag from the Spring/Summer 2025 runway.

Chanel’s signature tweed suit is a sharp, tailored look. Panday wore it recently. The wool and cotton tweed suit was adorned with brooches around the fabric. She wore soft pink makeup and tousled her hair to tie the look together.

Panday opted for monochromatic black at the Gala de L’Opera, a Parisian event. She paired her Spring-Summer 2022 Couture dress with a black mini-flap bag. Her look was completed with statement earrings and winged eyeliner.

The actor donned Look 9 for Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2025 runway show. It was a pink, ecru and black fantasy cotton-tweed jacket with matching Bermudas. She completed the look with black and white heels, a pink bag with a chain strap, and a saccharine pink bag.

Panday chose monochrome colours for an off-duty Paris day. A crossbody bag, jeans, and a T-shirt with a jacket are the perfect combination for comfort.

Panday proves that logomania is a fun way to dress up in luxury. Her matching set from Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection was a riot of colours and florals. She went for the maximalist look with a matching bag and sunglasses in multi-coloured shades.
