I needed to fit a comfortable edit suite and a guest bedroom into a 10' by 10' room. I built a queen-size Murphy bed with a bookcase surround into one wall (not shown) and custom designed a Murphy desk into the opposite wall. cables run from the wall-mount monitors, keyboard, mouse and speakers through the wall and thread through a hole in the closet floor to all my gear in a custom-built cart (slightly visible). Two switched and two unswitched outlets in the closet power it all.

With the desk down and the bed out, it's a comfortable guest bedroom. With the bed up and the desk out it's an airy, light Final Cut Pro and Avid suite.
