Is that an IKEA desk? I like the monitor display stands. How do you have the KRK's hooked up to your Mac Pro? Are they going through your 1604? I'm trying to figure out how to connect my KRK 4's to a MacBook Pro via an audio interface and/or mixer.

Yes, that is an IKEA desk - it has an L curve to the left that you can't see here. I used 2 of the half-round monitor stands pushed together for the Sony PVM. I am not a big fan of the audio feedback you get when ejecting tapes, so everything goes in and out of the Mackie. I have devised a wiring scheme which allows me to choose which source I am monitoring using the "mute - Alt 3/4" buttons on the Mackie. I haven't had a feedback loop since.
