What do you think of FinalCutters?

6 weeks 5 days ago read more...

Well time certainly does fly. FinalCutters has now been launched for over a year and we're planning to make some changes to the home page and add new features. But before we get carried away...we'd like to find out what you think of the site as it is and how it should move forward.

We have set up a brief survey which should only take a few minutes and we'd very much appreciate any feedback you can offer. To take the survey just click the link over on the left of the page.

Thanks for your time and we look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Introducing the Rig of the Day Gallendar

1 year 11 weeks ago read more...

Having recently made all previous Rig of the Day photos available to view individually, we thought the next logical step was to allow you to see them all at once. So we've come up with something a little different.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we are proud to bring you the Gallendar. "The what?" we hear you say. Sorry but as a cross between an image gallery and a calendar it was a temptation we just couldn't resist.

To view the new Rig of the Day Gallendar click on the 'All' link above any individual Rig of the Day photo or the 'View All' link above the photo on the homepage.

Don't forget, you can leave comments on all Rig of the Day photos past and present!

Previously published rigs are now viewable

We just added a new and much requested feature to the FinalCutters site.

If you click on the Rig of the Day photo on the home page then you'll now see Previous and Next links above the individual rig photo. These will take you through previously published photos, so if you missed a day there's no need to worry!

Comments on Rigs

1 year 14 weeks ago read more...

It's now been just over a week since the launch of the FinalCutters site and we've been bowled over by the fantastic response. Over 150 rig photos have been submitted so far and there's still plenty of time to get yours in before the prize draw closes on 15th May.

We also have a new feature - it's now possible to post comments on the Rig of the Day photos. If you don't already have a user account, you'll need to create one to post a comment.

Welcome to FinalCutters

1 year 15 weeks ago read more...

Welcome,

The sun is shining in London and we are very excited to officially launch our brand new site for the Final Cut Pro community. FinalCutters features all the latest Final Cut Pro news, blogs and even tweets so you'll always know where to find the word on the FCP street.

We're also very proud of our lightning fast Google search. Looking for help with an editing technique, tips on green screening or information on a new software product? Simply enter your keywords into the search field to see a list of FCP-specific text and video results (we add 'final cut pro or fcp' in the background so you don't have to). What's even cooler is you can click on any video result to watch it instantly in an embedded player.

You may also have noticed our Rig of the Day section. Every day we feature a Final Cut Pro rig photo on our homepage (submitted by you, the FCP community) and to celebrate the launch of the site, we're doing something special. If you submit a photo of your rig on or before Friday 15th May then you'll automatically be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a fantastic software bundle worth over $1000.

Not one but three lucky winners* will each get an identical software bundle containing the following products:

So what are you waiting for? Get your rig submitted and spread the word. FinalCutters is here!

* Just so you know...we're not judging on who's owns the most impressive rig (that would only end in tears) so everyone who submits a photo has an equal chance of winning.
